Learn how to identify edible tree foods and harvest some of the bounty from our local trees this fall season!

Join us for the joyous seasonal tradition of foraging for the nuts that fall from trees during this time of year. We’ll be focusing on oaks and hickory trees, collecting their nuts for processing at our Wild Harvest Workshop taking place the following month.

Come to learn how to identify the trees and the nuts that you can forage and make foods from!

This event is free and open to people of all ages. It will involve walking for about an hour at a slow pace over grassy, mostly flat terrain.
