Cumberland Historic Ghost Tour

Cumberland Historic Ghost Tours will conduct a one-hour walking tour of Historic Cumberland on October 17 at 6:30 PM. Guests will be greeted at the Washington Street Library by guides in period costume. Tour guide Anne Potts states, “October is a great month for a ghost tour. It comes just before All-Hallows-Eve, and everyone is in the mood for tales of spirits from the past.” The tour includes hauntings from the French and Indian War to modern day sightings. The tour is appropriate for all ages, and according to Potts, “Children on our haunted strolls seem to be the most receptive to the supernatural events.” Tickets are available immediately prior to the tour at $8 for adults and $4 for students.
